As the school semester ends and summer kicks off in the Treasure Valley, the community fully embraces the warmth and excitement that June brings. From brew fests and outdoor concerts to family-friendly activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy this month. Check out our list of June events and make the most of the sunny days and warm nights in Boise!

 

Public Lands Alefest:

June 8, 2024

Brought to you by the Idaho Wildlife Foundation, the Public Lands Ale Fest is a fun event that includes live music, food trucks, raffles, and of course, beer. This event takes place by the Boise River at Green Acres Food Truck Park, and it is open to the public with the option to buy an unlimited beer-tasting ticket for $30. 100% of proceeds go to protecting and enhancing Idaho’s fish, wildlife, public lands, and outdoor opportunities.

Snake River Raptor Fest:

June 8, 2024

Taking place at the Indian Creek Winery, the Snake River Raptor Fest is a FREE family-friendly event filled with live birds, live music, local food and drink, kids’ activities, nonprofit partners, and local arts and crafts. There will be a series of presentations and raptor-themed activities that begin the afternoon of Monday, June 3, and continue throughout the week, culminating in the main event on Saturday, June 8. Presentations will be given by friends and partners of Bird of Prey, including Boise State University, Intermountain Bird Observatory, the Peregrine Fund, and the Idaho Army National Guard’s Environmental Management Office.

Neighborhood Concert Series Kickoff:

June 12, 2024

The Neighborhood concert series is put on by the Morrison Center this summer to make live music more accessible. They offer free pop-up concerts in parks around Boise with food trucks, vendors, and beer from Lost Grove Brewing. The summer schedule includes 6 concerts, with the first one happening on June 12th from 5 pm to 7 pm in Sunset Park.

Wild West Brew Fest:

June 15, 2024

This brew fest is an old-timey, western-themed festival that features everything to love about the Wild West; beer, country music, and the country way of living. This lively event is costumes encouraged and includes live music and a mustache contest! Taking place at the Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell, this event will have over 35 breweries on-site to sample and taste from. While the Brewfest is open to all ages and is free to attend, the beer-tasting tickets are strictly for purchase by persons 21+.

Boise Music Festival:

June 22, 2024

As Idaho’s largest one-day music festival, Boise Music Festival provides a full day of entertainment and family fun. It is taking place at Expo Idaho this year from 10 am to 10 pm, and there are multiple ticket options including GA, Pit Pass, and the Cool Zone (an exclusive, adults-only, tented area). The lineup for Boise Music Festival this year includes Jason Derulo, Dustin Lynch, Ceelo Green, and Bryan Martin. Get tickets here.
