March is upon us, and Boise is gearing up for a month filled with exciting events. As the winter cold begins to gradually give way to the warmth of spring, the city comes alive with a vibrant array of activities, from Treefort Music Festival to the PBR Unleash the Beast Rodeo. Whether you're looking for a fun night out or you want to dig deeper into a hobby, there is an event for you this March!

 

Treefort Music Festival:

The 12th year of the Treefort Music Festival is happening from March 20th through 24th. Treefort features music from over 400 bands, with headliners including Briston Maroney, Channel Tres, DRAMA, Frac Moody, and Ty Segall. Treefort isn’t just a music festival, there are plenty of ‘forts’ to keep the whole crew entertained including standup comedy, yoga sessions, food trucks, beer tastings, and kid fort. Single-day all-access tickets start at $120, with the main stage, the Knitting Factory, and other specific tickets starting at $25 per day. The festival pass is $265 for general admission access to all 5 days of Treefort. This is a classic Boise event you can’t miss this year!

 

Boise Garden and Flower Show:

From March 22nd to 24th, the Boise Centre is hosting its annual Garden and Flower Show. This is the perfect way to kick off spring with everything you need to make your garden successful this year. The show includes new companies, new products, expert advice, tools, garden gadgets, demonstrations, spectacular garden displays, and seminars. This event is a dream come true for those with a green thumb! Tickets range from $8 to $30 and can be purchased here.

 

Annual Boise Roadster Show:

As Idaho’s premier motorsports experience, the annual Boise Roadster Show is an exciting event featuring hot rods, unique customs, street machines, boats, classics, and motorcycles. The 51st year of the show will fill all three buildings at the Expo Idaho Center, and awards including Trendsetter, Fire Rod, Jack’s Pick, and more will be awarded to cars. Broadway in Boise presents Mean Girls:

Straight off Broadway, Mean Girls is a hilarious hit musical recently released as a blockbuster movie. The musical follows the plot of the iconic 2004 movie, telling the story of Cady Heron as she adjusts to life in suburban Illinois in a school run by queen bee Regina George. This show will run at the Morrison Center from March 8th through March 10th. Tickets are selling out quickly and can be found here!

 

Professional Bull Riders - Unleash the Beast:

Strap in for a night of excitement at PBR Unleash the Beast where the world's best bull riders go head to head with the meanest bucking bulls on the planet. This adrenaline-filled event will be taking place at the Ford Idaho Center from March 28th through March 30th. PBR is known for its energetic, exciting atmosphere and you are sure to be on the edge of your seat. Tickets start at $15 and can be found here.

 

Saint Patrick’s Day in Downtown Boise:

Downtown Boise will come alive this Saint Patrick’s Day, with plenty of activities from a bar crawl to a YMCA River Dash and Leprechaun Loop running race. You can expect plenty of green beer at the bars and restaurants that may be offering special menus. Get your green on and go enjoy the downtown scene!
