Bungalow Home Furnishings. We dare you to walk into Bungalow Home’s showroom on Fairview Avenue and not gasp in delight. An even greater feat would be leaving empty-handed after browsing through the store—something we haven’t had the self-restraint to accomplish since they opened in 2021. Owner & principal designer, Judith Balis, was raised in Boise and spent nearly two decades as an interior design specialist before opening Bungalow in 2021. The 10,000-square-foot showroom is a work of art, with curated, unique, and beautiful vignettes throughout the light-filled space. Modern furnishings, stunning decor, a spacious corner dedicated to pillows & accessories, and walls full of oversized art—some created by local artists—make this one of our favorite places to browse, shop, and feel inspired. You’ll be greeted by warm & smiling staff and incredible home scents the moment you step inside, and the shop is ever-changing with new & exciting inventory. One of the most valuable & lovable elements of shopping at Bungalow is the in-house design team, who are ready and willing to help you pick out the perfect piece of furniture for your home. We also really enjoy shopping directly from the floor—fall in love with a rug, a leather chair, a piece of art, a stylish vase, or an entire living room set and take it home with you the same day. 

Scenic. The Storied Home. New to downtown Boise, but not new to the interior design scene, this gorgeous store radiates warmth, beauty, and luxury. Established in 2024 by three established interior designers with a passion for creating unique & comfortable spaces that tell a story. Each of these inspiring and talented women owns their own individual design firm, yet they felt inspired to bring their talents and vision together to open this brick & mortar shop where visitors can find custom furniture options, exclusive pieces from talented creatives, and hand-selected accessories. They offer in-home furnishing and styling services for those in need of a creative eye or finishing touch—this is an incredible opportunity to work closely with an interior designer if you don’t have the budget for a full design makeover. Pop into the store to pick out a fragrant candle, interesting coffee table book, vintage home accessory, or crystal barware. Touch & feel luxurious fabrics, receive expert advice on selecting designer wallpaper, and find a piece of art sourced especially for your home. They even put together seasonal gift collections and host a number of inspiring design events & workshops in the space. 

Robert & Wallace. Originally an online decor store and interior design service with a mobile trolley shop (seriously, a designer trolley selling home accessories?!?! How amazing!) that visited vintage markets and popular food truck parks throughout the Treasure Valley, the storefront opened in Southeast Boise in late 2024. Named after the owner’s two grandfathers, this home furnishings store is an absolutely stunning space that feels both chic & comforting. Selling furniture, decor, lighting, and rugs directly to Boise residents, they also have a fabulous online store and offer subscription seasonal design boxes shipped directly to your door. The boxes included designer-curated pieces such as textiles, tabletop items, and home scents, along with a styling guide & inspiration photos. We love this option as a generous gift that brings joy, design, and delight to your home all year long. The store features local artists regularly, and they also host some fantastic events like holiday tabletop design workshops and creative charcuterie classes. Owned & operated by lead designer Catherine Anderson, Robert & Wallace provides full-service interior design as well.
