Listing Your Home with The Lysi Bishop Team

If you’ve ever viewed a Lysi Bishop listing or joined us at one of our many open houses over the years, you’ve likely noticed one of the details that sets us apart. Our homes are fresh, clean, and welcoming, showcasing an attention to detail and the hours of planning, prepping, and work put into getting them ready for their market debut.
As part of the luxury service offered to all of our clients, our in-house design consultant and specialized listing managers assist with intentionally and carefully preparing your home to be listed. Regardless of a home’s square footage or price point, Lysi Bishop clients are given an incredible amount of support and guidance—from the agent’s consistent communication and real estate insight to the rest of the team's effort behind the scenes. Our goal is to anticipate our clients' needs and exceed their expectations, creating a seamless and stress-free home-selling process.
One of the first steps to prepare for selling can include a meeting with our talented in-house designer to discuss staging ideas, advice for furniture layout, and a suggested maintenance list. This insight is focused on preparing the property to show at its absolute best and create the most impact on potential buyers. Once our designer has submitted and discussed this personalized home preparation plan with the homeowners, sellers may decide to move forward with some or all of our recommendations. The listing manager is available to help with scheduling contractors to complete whichever projects the homeowner prefers and will keep an eye on the budget and timeline.

Recommendations may include fresh interior paint, decluttering, handyman items, lighting updates, window cleaning, or furniture staging. Some sellers choose to list their home "as is" without wanting to invest additional money or time because they've stayed on top of maintenance items or have a more pressing timeline. Others choose to use our team's insight and suggestions in hopes of earning top dollar. In this case, our team handles all of the details, from collecting bids to ordering necessary items and scheduling each contractor from a list of our trusted tradesmen. Relatively small and budget-conscious improvements can make a serious impact on how a home shows, feels, and sells. Taking the advice of our agents and designers while receiving the help of our listing specialists often leads to a quicker sale at a higher price.
Ultimately, we are dedicated to presenting our homes in their best light, helping buyers see a property’s features and potential, and helping our clients sell for top dollar.

This luxury home located in the foothills above the North End was already a masterful, custom-designed retreat. Our wonderful clients took the advice of the Lysi Bishop team, updating some lighting, freshening paint, and staging the home with intentional furniture placement. For a relatively low cost, these small touches made a big impact, resulting in a show-ready home that attracted the right buyers. This home went under contract almost immediately and sold at asking price in less than 30 days!
